What I remember from the books.....SPOILERS Bramhodoulos Send a noteboard - 30/05/2011 05:11:27 PM
I have seen it mentioned in a few places and by a few posters that Robert's death was no an accident. Is this true? Was Tywin involved? Or was the plan just to keep Robert drunk and see what bad happens?

Also, just wondering, does Joffery ever find out or realize that Jaime is his father, not Robert?


If I remember correctly the wine as poisened, with Lancel involved, though it only strongly hinted at in the books, and probalby never mentioned or confessed explicitly.

As for Joffery, Stannis will shout the truth from the rooftops in the second and third book, but as far as I can tell Joff simply believes is mummy on this who discards it as "treacherous lies".
