I love that Duncan Jones dares to end his films on an optimistic note. No preachy dark sermon or wagging finger, instead he makes you believe things will go awfully wrong for 90 minutes and then it ends well. I applaud that.


Some people really didn't like the ending - I suppose they thought it was too Hollywoodish - there are some cynics in the world.

The cool point is that the main character was able to beat his circumstances and get the girl through creative ingenuity ... a true hacker :D
