If it's about the guy's descent from watching the original movie, to fantasizing about it, to acting on those urges, then it could actually be a very good film. Disgusting, possibly painful to watch, but also much more terrifying than the typical horror movies are, in my opinion.

Besides, I'm all for not banning anything, unless there are very, very good reasons for it. And something being "disgusting" or in "bad taste" does not qualify as a good reason.
