Also you beat me to the review by an hour damn you *shakes fist*.

And you're even an hour ahead of me! :P

My thoughts on the 1st 2 movies - Number 1 wasn't what i'd hoped it would be, it had changed too much from my childhood. But it was still a decent movie, and pretty good as summer blockbusters go. The 2nd was terrible, if watchable, so much potential so little result.

I agree.

I cannot believe you are praising the actions sequences, oh there may be a few good shots, but by in large it's messy, unfocussed, makes no sense, has no purpose, confused, badly shot, horribly paced and overblown.

I found them to be inventive and fun, especially the one in the sliding building. I didn't even notice how much I clenched my hands into the seat until it was over.
I don't really get the badly shot point. The image of the jumpers falling/jumping from the plane was terrific, among others.

The good stuff? Well Rosie Huntington-Whitelys (can i just say Jasons missus it's easier) legs and tits are pretty decent and the many lingering shots were pretty good. Also there is a bit more humour in this one and most of it works...and that's it.

The lingering shot with her not even flinching while shit blows up behind her made everyone groan :D

I have to admit i'm ashamed and embarrased to have given Bay money by going to see this. And I applaud the half dozen people (out of about 40) who left my screening before the end, just walked out. I didn't i suffered to the end, which was mostly met with disbelieving laughter and relief that it was over from all.

I had the impression most people in our room liked it. A few guys behind us were like "whoaa that was awesome." I almost felt like turning around and asking them if they missed the first hour.
*MySmiley*

You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.
