I wonder if there will ever be anything like it again. Harry Potter was a total game changer in both children's/young adult literature and movies. Interesting indeed.

If you mean it was influential because of its huge success, then certainly. But I don't think you can really say it was all that original, as good as the series is.


But like the article says, it's pretty much the only truly continuous film series of its length which has got to count for something.
