Did anyone see the premier, hour long episode last night? All in all, I thought that it was great. It was very anime, but I'm kinda ok with that...cause the visuals/graphics/animation was pretty good. The story was very gritty, but I was ok with that too.

In my opinion, the single best change that they made is that (so far) Snarf doesn't talk. Snarf is more of a pet-like creature which follows Lion-o around. It says "snarf" much like a cat would meow...but other then that, it doesn't really go much. I actually liked that.
Most of the original characters are back. Lion-o, Cheetara, Tigra (who is now Lion-o's brother....is that new?), Wily Kit, Wily Kat, and Mumra are back. However Panthro has yet to make an appearance...although he is referenced. So ultimately, I really liked the first episode, and was wondering if anyone else had watched it.

I will admit that the new war cry is loads better than the old 80's version. Has more power to it.
