It managed to be dramatic w/o being all about the Castle/Beckett relationship. And they worked in a few amusing moments, as expected.

It was about time to give Ryan some depth other than the Esposito partnership or the upcoming wedding. I also liked that we had a plethora of real baddies. The last couple epis have been fun, but a little unbelievable.
