It does have a white circle on the cover like the moon behind Lan in Eye of the World, but it's in the lower right instead of the mid-upper left... and it doesn't have Lan's head in it.
It's mainly the brilliant white circle on the dark background that makes it look familiar, but the cover lacks other features of comparison if you really look at it. And the back of the book isn't even close.
