Throughout the season so far, my wife and I have been debating just how much the mayor/witch knew of her previous life since in her earlier discussion with Rumplesiltskin (sp?) it seemed as though everyone, including the witch, would forget their "real" fairytale story.

Given last night's ending, though, I don't see how that could possible be the case.

Your thoughts? In particular, the interactions with Mr. Gold at least seem to indicate his greater awareness of the situation, particularly since he says himself that he was the one to find Henry at the mayor's request.
