Considering they make good money the production companies will keep releasing movies in 3D. What's really scary is if Titanic in 3D and the Star Wars prequels do well in 3D we might see a lot of older movies released in 3D.
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
