Because that lady is actually a MMA fighter and could probably take out a lot of guys on her way.
Overall, you are right of course. I don't mind in cases like Cap Am, where it's just a short scene, mostly for humorous reasons. If the whole movie is based on the principle of a tiny woman beating up guys (and her background is not MMA) it is a bit silly, of course.
