She's well-built and strong, not the usual Hollywood tiny figure.

(Her mother-in-law was the guidance counsellor at my high school. We got lots of gossip because said MIL didn't like her. Naughty lady.)


But she's really not as big as we think she is. When she was playing Xena, whenever there were shots of her in non Xena costume, it was shocking how slim she looked.

There was even an episode (in one of the later seasons, at the point where they totally embraced making fun of themselves) where Xena actually yelled: "I will CRUSH YOU with my things of DOOM!" Xena was playing someone else in that scene, but that was beside the point. It was awesome.

But yeah- like I said in the first place, I do think Lucy Lawless is the best example of a woman in an action role so far.
