The violent intensity of the rape scene was a bit much for my tastes, especially since I hadn't read the book and didn't know it was coming.
Ditto with the cat, although I guess i'm the opposite of Nossy.. I could handle the animal mauling but had a real tough time with the human abuse.
All in all, it was a good crime/mystery story. And yes, it felt very Swedish.
