It was... the relationship does feel a little soap opera like currently though - they love each other but are messing it up.
Also, I completely fell for their false clue - I was convinced the Aussie posing as being a cop from the East End of London would turn out to be the bad guy, using them to find something the dead girl had hidden. Now I'm confused why they used someone who couldn't do a convincing British accent
