Anyone with any familiarity with the Marvel Universe knows D-Man is the universally agreed upon lamest hero ever to pal around with Captain America.

And as j-whitt said, the tiny snippet that mentions Hawkeye in the Swordsman critique doesn't really invalidate Hawkeye's usefulness. He's just another above normal athlete who employs gadgets (like Batman, except with trick arrows).

Also, regarding your comment about martial arts skills, he does have them.
