I agree in a normal world this would be true.

But this is a world where the world believes in magic and religion and unlike the real world we have proof of magic (though Jamie hasn't seen any of this proof personally.)

And in the world of ASOIAF, kinslaying is Abomination that will cause you to be curse. This and the violation of guest right. Lets see what nasty consequences does Jamie get for breaking this taboo :devil:

(note in the books Jamie is not a kinslayer, he is just a person who violated guest right by throwing Bran out a window.)
