He doesn't care, he only cares about the throne that is his right. Also, he wasn't an idiot since they were on the verge of victory before Papa Lannister and the Tyrells came to the rescue.


See I disagree yes he is single minded but in the books he isn't this much of a dick, and in the books he wasn't on the verge of victory at this point.
