Introducing Selyse and Shireen now kind of makes a plot hole in regards to Melisandre.


There's a lot of people who think that Melisandre's shadow babies came from Stannis having sex with her. I assume that's what you're referring to, so I don't see how that's a problem, just because they showed it on TV.


It should have remained implied, hinted at or as just a rumor. I always liked that we had no real clue in the books. Stannis just didn't seem interested in sex, not with his wife either, mind you. He just had other priorities and in his own way he is a man of honor. So I didn't like him doing that in the show.
