So the one Engineer we met is a little person in his society? And then he had a ship specifically design for his size needs?
Even if they have a sequal (who knows what the name would be since the Prometheus blew up), it would have to be on another planet with another ship. That would solve a multitude of questions that were left open.
I think that is the idea - it was a different Engineer, ship and planet... the size thing though is looking like something they're just going to ignore, I think.
It doesn't fix the horrible plot, acting, pacing, or general everything story wise, however.
I actually thought the acting wasn't too bad - the script was horrible but I think the actors did a very good job with it... there are just limits to how much you can make of a poor script, in particular in a film with such a poor plot.
p.s- Did anyone see it in 3D? It looked like it was filmed to be "pretty" and "awe inspiring" in 3D. You know...look at the pretty pictures...don't worry about the story.....
It was a good looking film in 3D. I think Scott was so busy making it look pretty he forgot about everything else.

Robert Graves "There is no money in poetry, but then there is no poetry in money, either."
Henning Mankell "We must defend the open society, because if we start locking our doors, if we let fear decide, the person who committed the act of terror will win"

Meh. The movie was OK, I feel like it tried to do too much and didn't finish anything it started

Nothing in this post can spoil the film as badly as the script writer did, so it could be worse *NM*

The Vickers stuff is pretty annoying. There are no good villians.
