I liked the mirrorscene. And the character wasn't bad. But it lacked the explanation the green goblin and doc oc had. "The serum had side effects, aggression, etc." And "the mechanic arms are super intelligent, but I have a chip! Chip is gone, insane!"
But I guess there had to be some difference between this one and the 2002 one. Though I didn't understand why Connors saved spidey. He seemed fullblown crazy. But we can't blame him for not measuring up to alfred molina's dock oc. He was fantastic.

I still found the character worked a) because of the scenes in front of the mirror and the glass door, where you could see the desire to be a whole man again and b) because he saved Spidey in the end.

Dr. Connors descent into madness was akin to Arthos 'descent' into madness in War Craft III. That is, there's no descent. He just plummets into insanity.
