The vast majority of the audience don't care about the books. And frankly, I couldn't stand that boring drivel. The movies were 10x more entertaining than the books. So, in essence, WHO CARES?!

But I have to say that I have trouble caring. I read everything everyone is complaining about, and am more excited. :P I guess we will see, but it isn't fair to make fun of anyone because of love for the originals. I'm still mad about the changes to Star Wars. :D
