I liked Amy and Rory well enough, but have really grown tired of them lately. Their exit comes as a relief, but I could have done with something a little less permanent. I suppose if they wanted the characters back enough, they could just go ahead and find some clever method (break the rules) to do it. I am looking forward to the new companion, since I enjoyed the actresses performance in her recent appearance.
