in a day and House won't immediately change. He is just going to try. It will add a whole new dimension of humor to the show. Not only will there be the conflict between House and others but there will be the conflict between who House is and who he wants to be to entertain you.
I only find jerks entertaining in small doses. I think that he will be much more interesting when he finds out he has a heart.
