They have fully functional, autonomous robots. And they still allow poor people to live! When you have robots and cure-anything-in-five-minutes capsules, poor people are totally superfluous. And when you have an orbital habitat and spaceships, people on the ground are only as alive as you want them to be. Seriously, kinetic energy weapons - gravity would do all the work. But no one points out that the rich people are letting these nuisances overbreed their planet and keep barging into their habitat.
