...Rick leaving Carol behind. While her action was debatable it was certainly not too far out there, compared to other things that had to be done in the past. I didn't get a threatening or crazy vibe from her. She was also rather pragmatic about the two kids not returning in time but who could blame her?
The only reason for Rick to let her go that I can agree on is to protect her from the truth coming out and the consequences.
