I literally tore myself away from a family gathering to watch the Christmas Special on BBC America [TWICE], and I loved the episode. Special return appearance near the end that would have made everyone watching go squee [or a more manlier sound].

I have to confess, I tried really hard not to like Matt Smith after Tennant's run. But chin boy grew on me and I was surprised to feel sad as the episode neared its end! And then BAM!, Capaldi just appeared and I was like "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU*!"

The new Doctor is going to be a RIOT, I just know it! After the regeneration, as he was giving Clara that look with his "special eyes", I half expected him to start swearing. Oh and KIDNEYS! lmfao (If you watched In The Loop/The Thick of It, you'd get it.)

Whatever may come, one thing's for sure! The TARDIS swear filter is gonna be working overtime for Capaldi. lol
