So I will see the ending on TV before I read it. I have no problem with that, even if I may have preferred it the other way. I have yet to read a book of which I've seen the film first (even though I keep telling myself to, like Cloud Atlas, Life of Pi etc.), so I wonder if I'll be this invested in picking them up once I know how it ends.
I just hope the way the show ends doesn't give Martin ideas to meddle with his own plans. I don't expect anyone to be a hero in one and die in the other medium, but you never know...
