.....show up and ride to the rescue. That would essentially be the Battle of Blackwater 2.0. And it gives us something extra to look forward to next week.
I will rewatch is again tonight, but wow, great episode. I think they handles the battle and characters extremely well.

Really beautifully done all around, but I also hoped for Stannis to arrive at the end.
I don't remember that many of Jon's friends biting it in this battle, tbh.
Before the episode I was kinda worried about them sticking to just one location for 50 minutes but it worked wonders for this sequence. Felt very right, well done. LOVED the ancor on the wall, holy shit!
