That is one of the main reasons I consider him a tier two writer regardless of his success. It really just comes down to sloppy writing and poor editing. Don’t waste my time developing a character for 4-5 chapters just to kill them off after accomplishing very little. I enjoy epic stories that have deep well developed worlds but that doesn’t mean the writer should feel free to waste my exploring dead ends and over developing minor characters.
