Very interesting points. I've never really liked the Bechdel Test. It is probably the most pointless criteria for a film I've heard. Considering that Bechdel herself only invented it as a setup for a joke, I'm not sure why it is even being used at all. Even if a movie does pass the Bechdel test, it doesn't mean it is representative of feminism. If they want something to be a quick test against gender bias, they need to come up with something else.
