The only interesting bit in this episode, in relation to the whole show, to me: Why do they get together?
The obvious, cliched reason: Husband works hard, ignores wife, wife gets lonely, wife has big heart (she's a doctor!) and sympathizes with dad with autistic child, wife and dad become lovers.
Or maybe two other possibilities:
1. Mark connects Simcoe to blackout and makes wife spy on him. Pretty unlikely, though.
2. Simcoe told to spy on Mark via doctor/wife. More likely than possibility one.
Please, Omnipotent Being, don't let it be the cliched reason.
Other reasons they might get toghether, I'd like to hear.
