If he was treated for his disease after his skin had already undergone the pigment change, would that necessarily be reversed?
Well the skin changes in Addison's are more like a tan, so he wouldn't really turn "black". And like a tan, according to the internets/textbooks, it should fade away after awhile if you're treated correctly. But I'm already pleased they chose an actual disease with the correct complications and correct treatment, as opposed to what I've seen sometimes on other shows *cough*House*cough*.
