Fringe, Glee, and Supernatural (this week's) Bookwyrm Send a noteboard - 15/11/2009 06:49:58 AM
There seems to be a decline in TV reviews and discussions of our favorite shows. Perhaps because a lot of people are participating in tGS topics and such (I don;t blame you), but I'd like it if we got back to our routine.

Fringe: I thought it was a pretty weak episode. Mind control? I totally knew it was the kid from the get-go. However, I did like how Peter's past was similar to the kid's; dead mother, an absent father who is not that honest about Peter's childhood. PLEASE get back to the shifter storyline and their formerly headless Leader!

Glee: Sue surprised me, and in a good way. Her affinity to the mentally disabled was touching, and the scene with her sister was sweet. I swear, the woman's like an onion. Underneath all that rank hostility are layers of complex emotions and traits. Quinn utterly disgusts me. The way she treats Finn really got on my nerves. I am eager for the day Finn discovers the truth! Wheelchair kid and the Korean chick storyline was okay, but I thought Wheels was being snobby with the K-chick.

Supernatural: Killed me. Dead. I was ROFL. Dean and Sam get sucked into a Supernatural Convention filled with LARPing fans. Besides the humor and the antics, it still tied into the main storyline (via the Prophet's breaking of the 4th wall).

What did the rest of ya'll think?
BOHICA - Go ahead, ask me what it means.
