Firefly: which is your favorite episode, and why?
Castle: if you watched yesterday's episode, did you notice the loose end in the plot? I was disappointed by that - detective shows are all about tying up loose ends, so it's not good when they forget about something.

What loose end? I can only think that it didn't explicitly explain where the money went, but he wasn't paid from one company, the 2nd job was lower pay, and the money borrowed from the brother was used to pay his bills and keep his really family afloat for a couple of months.
