A reboot after only 3 movies?? And the previous series still had a lot of untapped potential. There were still plenty of villains and events that hadn't yet been used. The third movie wasn't as good as the first two, but it was hardly franchise destroying. What do we need a damn reboot for? Trite high school melodrama?
