What was the best movie of the year then? And please don't say Dragonball. 
I would have to say Sherlock Holmes. Good action and effects without them taking over the film, good script, nice overall story, funny as hell.
And there were definitely parts of Up that were funny. I totally saw you laughing. Don't even deny it. 
But it was totally the saddest movie ever. I mean, the humor in it was just comic relief. It was by no way a comedy. The funny parts were made so that you could stop feeling like you were gonna cry.
