Although I am not entirely buying hos easily Peter believes that Sylar can save Emma, just because of a hint in a dream. It wasn<'t even a very clear or structured dream.
Why did Claire go get a first aid kit, for instance, when her blood can magically cure everyone? It's best not to delve into "why" in my opinion.
I think her blood doesn't really work if you just rub it over a wound
