Introducing the Temple and new, previously unseen characters though... There were about 5 seconds where I was thinking "Did they go back to the past again or what?"

So, do you think Sayyid is Sayyid? or is he Jacob?

Also, it was priceless to see fear on Richard's face. Not so much that I wish his character ill, but because he's never really shown it before. Do you think he's some kind of mediator between Jacob and the Smokey? Or perhaps the "nice to see you out of those chains" remark means he was a prisoner on that ship that crashed centuries ago. The Black Rock was a prison ship, right? Maybe he's from there and has just been hanging around that convenient Fountain of Youth that's in the Temple.

Do we think the alternate timelines will resolve into one? Or each character will find their true peace or path in only one of the two?
The sword might be grateful to the forge fire, but never fond of it.
