He should've been killed along with the rest of the Dharma Initiative when the Others attacked. When that was shown, there was no indication that the Others spared children, right? Or any of the Dharma Initiative.
P'raps you missed that Ethan was bumming around with Ben when they stole Rousseau's baby? He was apparently an Other-affiliate several years before the Purge.
Of course, since this is an alternate timeline with the Island at the bottom of the ocean, it's extremely likely there never was a Purge to begin with. Let alone Rousseau coming to the Island.
