And thus we see that this whole debate is as pointless as it's ever been, since nothing can sufficiently categorise or award individual interpretation.
But it's really impossible that there was no better movie than RotK that year.
And like I said, the basic concept of trying to compensate for two years of snubs by just showering RotK with awards is idiotic.
