The pilot isn't really the best example of the show, but I also don't really want to show them the series completely out of order.

What's the best episode to get someone into the series without spoiling too much?


That first two hour part was compelling enough to continue watching. I do remember thinking "This is pretty decent but is it REALLY that good like everyone seems to rave?" I think by the third or fourth episode I was hooked big time. So, I think the show stands form the beginning on its own merits.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
