But I did receive an email today that my cable company is showing it for free in a delayed On Demand. Maybe I'll try and catch it when it's available.


Free...definately. Even if it was just a $1.00 an episode or some such....totally worth it. In Band of Brothers, there was much more of a feel of "majestic heroism". From the look, to the music, to the mission....it just had that feel.

The Pacific is already a bit darker, the mission is a bit more unclear and muddled with the way it is depicted on film corresponding with this mood. There is the feel that these men are doing the job that they need to get done. It is much more psychological in nature.
