the best part of it is the storyline - everything feels planned up until the middle of the 4th season when just about everything goes bananas.
Just relax, and enjoy. I must say I have enjoyed this more than any star trek I have watched, the characters are better and the dialogue flows much better, and the plots are not quite as idiotic.

I can't help feeling it is a little unfair to compare Star Trek to Babylon 5. Star Trek can never stand up to it. It never seems planned. If you take all of Start Trek ever you may come up with perhaps half as many interesting characters as Babylon 5 has in those 5 seasons. And don't get me started on plot.
They started it.
That is very silly of them, as they end up looking like kids at a grown up dinner party.
