Well there is going to be a four year gap from the last fantastic four movie untill Captain America Mark Send a noteboard - 23/03/2010 01:13:48 PM
And Fox are planning a re-boot of the Fantastic Four franchise with a whole set of new actors anyway. So he won't be playing two separate Marvel characters at the same time, even if the are separate movieverses.

I heard so, I think it's just way too early. Movie goers shouldn't have to care about what company is behind a film. They saw Evans as Torch, so he is the Torch, at least for a decade or two or whenever viewer memories fade and reboots or remakes are acceptable again.
I don't like it. Just like I dislike the plans for a Spiderman reboot.
It's a good thing Marvel got their own film company running and fulfill their ideas of films about their own comics, but I don't see why they would want to change stuff that came out rather recent and worked well.

And let's just say I wouldn't feel that the Fantastic Four films worked particularly well.
