I agree they went a bit overboard with the special effects at the end in the transition from man to starchild, but some allowances have to be made for age of the film. That was a new special effect at the time.


I have absolutely NO CLUE what it means, but it was awesome. That kind of makes it cooler, in a way. esoteric knowledge and symbolism, ftw!
