I'm not even sure what making everyone "feel it" would accomplish, but Eloise seems to be a good person to ask. They hinted at timeline-crossing with Jack's appendicitis, etc, but not at this level. Very entertaining, lots of subtle (and not-so subtle) hints at the other timeline.
The sword might be grateful to the forge fire, but never fond of it.
