Now that I know what the story was like before the rewrite, The Shrike Send a noteboard - 10/04/2010 12:50:53 AM
Was because Sam Worthington wanted to show his nephew the importance of being a man, so he had a bit of a re-write done.

Ultimately that is what has turned me off going to see this movie, well that and the whole pushing 3-D thing, when it was clearly meant to be shown in 2-D. Maybe if it plays for a while and there is nothing else on I might go see it as a purely popcorn experience.


I realize I would prefer the rewrite version. It's like someone telling Homer to rewrite The Iliad and take out the Gods.
