I thought he recognised it from one of the Heros of the Horn in tGH.
But I hadn't thought of the glass columns in Rhuidean. That makes a little more sense.
The other very remote possibly is that he read about it or saw it when he was researching the prophecies of the dragon. An illustration of Lews Therin maybe?
