The beginning was rough. I mean...really really rough. When he switched over to Rand he seemed to kinda hit a bit of a stride and it became quite a lot more enjoyable.

Yes, either that's where it's back to something that's at least partially been done by RJ or Sanderson has managed to get 'in the groove'. Hopefully the latter.
