I don't think it's safe to throw out that monstrosity with the rest of my trash. I'm thinking there are probably regulations that protect the workers from handling such hazardous materials. There are things you just don't throw out with your everyday trash - DKS covers are a good example.

And I wouldn't feel safe in my home knowing that it is in the same building as me. I'd never be able to fall asleep.
